Kathmandu, August 13: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has set end of August 2020 as the deadline for the non-beneficiaries, declared by the NRA in different times, to receive the letter of disapproval.

Those applicants can receive the letter of declaration of non-beneficiary from the NRA’s District Level Project Implementation Unit (Grant Management and Local Infrastructure), DLPIU-GMaLI, according to Manohar Ghimire, Deputy Spokesperson of the NRA.

These non-beneficiaries, however, can appeal to the NRA Appellate Committee within 35 days of receiving the letter.

Also those applicants whose applications have been put on hold for final decision as they own livable house elsewhere should submit their recommendation letter following due process by September 15 this year. They can submit the letter to the concerned DLPIU-GMaLI.

Similarly, the beneficiaries who want to change from retrofitting beneficiary to reconstruction beneficiary should also submit their application at the concerned Ward Office by attaching necessary recommendations. These beneficiaries can submit their applications at the DLPIU-Building within November 15.

Deputy Spokesperson Ghimire also informed that those who are yet to sign the agreement should do so by September 15 and receive the first installment of the government grant.
