Communication and transportation allowance for technicians released

Kathmandu, July 14: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has released the communication and transportation allowance of technicians involved in private housing reconstruction.

The NRA released Rs. 83.4 million today for the technicians deputed in 32 earthquake-affected districts who had not receive the allowances since the beginning of fiscal year 2020/21.

It was agreed on June 27 to provide the allowances entitled for the technicians as per the NRA provision during the talks held between the officials of the NRA and the representatives of the technicians.

Earlier on June 24, the NRA Steering Committee meeting had decided to provide the technicians with the allowance.
