Maniram Gelal is new NRA Secretary

Kathmandu, February 22: The newly-appointed Secretary of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) Maniram Gelal assumed his office today.

Earlier, Chief Executive Officer of the NRA Sushil Gyewali, executive members, joint secretaries and project directors of Central Level Project Implementation Units and staffs at the NRA welcomed Gelal at the NRA premises.

CEO Gyewali said that Gelal’s expertise would help complete the remaining works of the NRA in an effective manner.

Secretary Gelal expressed his commitment to contribute in completing the reconstruction works and also work towards handing over the remaining works to the concerned government agencies.

Gelal had earlier worked as Secretary at the National Vigilance Center.

At a function held earlier, the NRA bid farewell to outgoing Secretary Suresh Acharya. Secretary Acharya has been transferred to Nepal Trust.
